Scattered
So it’s been FAR too long since I last blogged. Things have been very busy! We are in full swing on LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes at Traveller’s Tales, which has been both great fun and informative. I’ve learned a whole lot since this has been my first project I’ve worked on in-game sound. I finished up last week by sweeping a microphone on a boom pole across a room following a moving…. something :P lots of fun anyway!
I’ve been having a bunch of thoughts on topics to blog about lately (with help from awesome people on Twitter), ranging from fairly specific stuff on game sound and implementation, to broader discussions on art and music. I will TRY and get something written soon, just finding the time is so damn difficult!
Also, I want to give a quick thank you to the awesome community of game audio and sound design people on Twitter, I broke 1000 followers this week which seems absolutely insane to me, I’m just a rambling sound designer. I seem to be doing something right anyway, so thank you to all of you. I’m not exaggerating when I say that all of you make my day on a regular basis, and make me happy to be part of this awesome community. Thanks guys!
